🚫 Grounds Closure Notice 🚫

Please note that the Margaret River Horse & Pony Club grounds will be closed to general riding on Saturday 5 September and Sunday 6 September while we host the fourth Back to Basics Winter Series Clinic with Rachel Brennen.

Due to the popularity of the series, an additional clinic has been added to the calendar, and we're excited to welcome another group of riders for a weekend of learning.

👀 Spectators are welcome to come along and watch throughout the weekend.

Thank you for your understanding while we host this clinic and support another fantastic learning opportunity for our members and wider equestrian community. 💚🐴

🚫 Grounds Closure Notice 🚫

Please note that the Margaret River Horse & Pony Club grounds will be closed to general riding this Saturday 8 August and Sunday 9 August while we host the final Back to Basics Winter Series Clinic with Rachel Brennen.

Spectators are very welcome to come along and enjoy the clinic, but the arenas and grounds will not be available for general riding during the event.

It looks absolutely fantastic and provides great access for Trade Vans and stall holders at certain events throughout the year 💛🐎💚

This is a Friendly Reminder that only current MRHPC Members are allowed to access and Ride on the Club Grounds . We have Welcomed many new members this year to our club which is wonderful , however they may not have realised that unfortunately you cannot invite a friend along to ride at the grounds unless they hold a current membership with the club , this is due to our insurances across Pony Club , Adult Riders & Horse Power 💚🐎💛

❄️ BACK TO BASICS WINTER SERIES – CLINIC 2 ❄️

Ready to continue building on the foundations from our first clinic?

Join Rachel Brennen on 11–12 July for the second clinic in our Back to Basics Winter Series.

Over two days, riders will work through structured groundwork and ridden lessons in small, supportive groups designed to improve confidence, communication and partnership with their horse.

Suitable for young or green horses, as well as experienced horses needing refinement and strengthening of established skills.

Places are limited to ensure quality instruction and plenty of individual attention.

📢 Training Day Update – iPad Training Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the iPad training session scheduled for this morning has been cancelled.

The Training Day will still be going ahead as planned, with all dressage tests and jumping rounds running as normal.

Thank you to everyone for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at the grounds for a great day of riding and learning.

📣 Calling All Future Dressage Pencillers! 📣

With electronic scoring becoming the new norm, we’re looking for volunteers who would like to learn how to use our new iPad scoring system for dressage competitions.

This weekend is the perfect opportunity to get familiar with the technology in a relaxed and supportive environment before it becomes standard at our events.

🕘 Join us at 9:00am Saturday for a quick run-through and practice session, then stay and sit in during the dressage tests to have a go yourself with guidance and support.

No experience necessary just a willingness to learn and help out. It’s a great way to support our club and gain valuable competition experience.
