Margaret River Squad Swim Club We are a not for profit, Swimming WA affiliated club, offering squad swim sessions for swim fun, fitness, endurance or competition.

A fun place to swim with friends and improve your swimming either for fitness or competition - Tuesday: Development Squad 3.45 - 4.30pm, Open Squad 4.30pm to 5:15pm, Thursday: 6.30 - 7.30am, Friday: 3:45 - 4:45

Following the success of the ballot last year, the event will be adopting the ballot registration system again for 2023.

The Ballot entry dates for noting in your diaries:
⏰Sat 1st Oct, 6:00 am - Ballot opens
⏰Sun 9th Oct, 11:59 pm - Ballot closes
⏰Mon 17th Oct - All entrants notified of results by email

No need to panic as you have 9 days to nominate your entry. On closure of the ballot period, a random draw will shuffle all ballot entries into an order for confirmed entries and waitlist.

📣📣Welcome to the launch of Busselton Jetty Swim 2023.

We are super excited for our 28th year presenting this iconic open water swim. The Busselton Jetty Swim is a community event that originated around a spirit of participation and this has been the core to its growth. We look forward to hosting over 4,000 swimmers over the event weekend 11th and 12th February.

just a reminder that as it is a public holiday tomorrow there will be no monday mornings training (March 7th).
there will also be no tuesday afternoon training (March 8th) as Sophie is attending a course in Perth. If you normally attend this session feel free to come to any other session to make up for the missed one.

Welcome new and old squadies to 2022 Margs squad training! Inviting all kids who want to make a splash this term.
This year we will offer 2 types of squad training, Development and Open.

Development squad focuses on technique, fitness and fun. Perfect for swimmers from middle primary to lower high school. The squad trains in 45 minute blocks, ideal for kids looking to improve their swimming abilities past swimming lessons and make friends along the way.
Development training is offered on:
Tuesday 3:45pm - 4:30pm
Thursday 6:45am - 7:30am
Friday 3:45pm - 4:30pm

Open squad focuses on speed, endurance and personal achievement. Made for swimmers keen to compete or to simply get faster. Open trains in up to 90 minute blocks, where our coaches work to fine tune the swimmers individual technique, maximising their potential.
Open training is offered on:
Monday 6:30am - 7:30am
Tuesday 3:45pm - 5:15pm
Thursday 6:00am - 7:00am
Friday 3:45pm - 5:15pm
