🐴 TRAINING DAY ENTRIES NOW OPEN 🐴

Join us at Margaret River Horse & Pony Club on Saturday 20 June for a fun and supportive Dressage & Show Jumping Training Day.

🌟 Dressage – Tests 2 & 3 available | 10:00am start
🌟 Show Jumping – Lead Rein (35cm) to 1.00m | 10:30am start

This day is designed to help both riders and officials build confidence and experience. Our dressage judges will also be using the new iPad scoring system as part of their training, so we ask riders to be patient and supportive while they become familiar with the technology.

The 6 Bar Jumping Comp is coming to Bunbury Turf Club….

Proudly presented to you by Wittens Irrigation & Design and Off The Track WA. Join us on Sunday the 28th of June at the Bunbury Turf Club for the 6 Bar Jumping Comp, showcasing the incredible versatility of Off The Track thoroughbreds. With an impressive $20,000 prize pool this event is not to be missed.🙌🏼💥

This event is restricted to Off The Track registered horses.

🐴✨ ZONE 6 – WHAT IS AN AM5 SHOWJUMPING ROUND? ✨🐴

So you’ve entered your first showjumping event (how exciting!!) 🎉
…and suddenly you’re hit with a whole bunch of new lingo.

Your child needs to jump an AM5 round and you’re standing there thinking…
“What the heck is an AM5?!” 😅

Don’t worry — learning the showjumping language is way easier than learning a whole new language… but it can still feel a little daunting at first! So we’re here to help 💙

🏇 AM5 – HOW IT WORKS:

In an AM5 round, riders must jump the first round:

✅ Clear (no rails, no refusals)
✅ Within the time allowed

If you jump clear and make the time, you may be called back for a Jump Off!

🔥 THE JUMP OFF:
If you are called back, the jump off is judged on:

⭐ Clear AND Time

That means the winner is the rider who goes:
🏆 Fastest clear round

So in AM5 you need to:
➡️ Ride accurate and steady in the first round
➡️ Jump clear and make the time
➡️ Then in the jump off… it’s game on! (but still needs to be clear!)

📣 Important Date Clarification – 2026 Showjumping Events 📣

We’ve been made aware that there have been some errors circulated regarding our 2026 event dates, so we just want to clarify the correct information for everyone.

✅ Our confirmed 2026 dates are:
September – 20th
November – 8th
December – 6th

These events will be:
🏆 Leaderboard qualifiers
🐎 Running two rings:
Encouragement
Main ring
🌏 Open to all riders with:
EA
PC Open
Pony Club Rider

Please make sure you’re working off the dates above when planning your season. If you have any questions at all, feel free to comment below or send us a message.

benefits without competition access. This level is ideal for casual riders.

EWA Membership – ‘Adult Riding Membership’
This category of membership is ideal for rider who are currently member of an
Adult Riding Club (affiliated with EWA and ARCA) and includes 24/7 insurance,
access to club events, compete in restricted level of competition in Participant
classes and dedicated Adult Rider classes. You can upgrade your membership at
any time.

EWA Membership – ‘Participant Membership’
This type of membership suits riders entering restricted or lower-level
competitions. It includes 24/7 insurance, access to training, and ability to register
horses. Ideal for riders developing skills or stepping into competition gradually.
You can upgrade your membership at any time.
Why should I choose this category?
It offers competition access, but only at restricted or introductory levels, which is
perfect for riders who aren’t quite ready for full Equestrian WA competitions.

EWA Membership 2026 – ‘Supporter Category’
This category of membership is for people involved in the sport off the horse,
including parents, volunteers, owners, breeders, officials and coaches. It provides
24/7 insurance, the ability to register horses, access to education and member
updates, and voting rights (18+). You can upgrade your membership at any time.
Why should I choose this category?
It’s not for riding, but essential for those who support riders and events, and need
insurance or horse registration without competition access.

EWA Membership 2026 – ‘Competitor Category’
Ideal membership for riders who want to enter competitions at any level. It
includes full competition access, 24/7 insurance, horse registration, and the ability
to purchase competition licences. You also receive education and access to
education and discounts.
Why should I choose this category?
It is the only level of membership that allows entry to official competitions along
with other membership benefits such as insurance and facility discounts.
