One week after the greens renovations and the 20 tonnes of sand have blended nicely into the greens.

It’s been a big couple of weeks preparing for the low sitting just off the coast, all while completing our greens renovations.

Fortunately, we’ve only received around 25mm of rain over the past week, which has worked in well with the renovation schedule.

Last week all fairways and tees received an application of fertiliser and growth regulator to help suppress growth with the predicted rainfall.

A huge effort from the greens crew lately. The course has been cut twice over in preparation for the incoming weather, and the crowsfoot team—led by the main man Bernie—spent over 30 hours alone wipe wiping the greens for crowsfoot.

As a result, our greens are now around 95% clean, just in time for renovations to tidy up any remaining damage.

Massive thanks to the whole greens team for the effort over the past couple of weeks. The greens will continue to recover nicely from renovations, and over the coming weeks we’ll start dialling in surfaces as we prepare for our first event in six weeks. Looking forward to seeing everyone out enjoying the course.
