A heartfelt thank you to Shihan Howard Quick, 8th Dan in Japanese Jujitsu and Head of Shinkendo Australia, for delivering another outstanding seminar here on the Tablelands over the Cairns Show long weekend this year bringing along his son Sam, a young talented martial artist.

Across two days of focused training, we had the privilege of diving into both traditional Japanese Jujitsu and Shinkendo (Japanese swordsmanship), under the guidance of a true master. Shihan Quick’s knowledge, precision and passion for martial arts continue to inspire and elevate everyone who steps onto the mat.

We’re honoured to once again to welcome Shihan Howard Quick 8th Dan in Japanese Jujitsu and Head of Shinkendo Australia, back to Far North Queensland for a special seminar with Yama No Seirei Budo over the Cairns Show long weekend.

A long-time friend of the dojo, Shihan Quick’s regular visits are always a highlight for our students, offering them a unique opportunity to train with one of Australia’s most respected practitioners of traditional Japanese martial arts.

This year, we’re especially excited to announce that his son Sam will be joining him for the first time. A talented young martial artist in his own right.
