Well after an eventful couple of seasons our luck has finally turned. We headed off to Pioneer Park Speedway for the first time.

Hot laps: Definitely an interesting track to say the least it was very slick and dusty wasn’t much grip at all then after a couple of yellows the front sprocket let go. All I could think was it was going to be another one of those nights.

Heat 1: Start P2 finishe P5
Had a really good run at the start was running in second up until 3 laps to go and spun it and clipped the wall sending us back to P8 but was lucky enough to bring it back to P5 to finish on a tricky track.

Heat 2: Start P7 finish P4
Was about to get some pace up learning the track a bit more about to learn where to put the car with the hole forming in turn 1 and 2 but able to make a few positions so always happy with that.

Heat 3: Start P4 finish P1
Got the jump off the start finding a hole where there wasn’t one and controlling the rest of the race slowly pulling away from the cars behind, unfortunately hit the wall harder again on the last lap but no damage was done and was able to finish P1.

Feature: Start P3 finish P3
After a bit of a tricky track and struggling with front wing damage after lap 3 taking out a cone and a couple of yellows slowly gaining on the cars in front unfortunately the end came too quickly.

After the meeting had concluded we were able to get some wingless practice in which was quite fun and interesting and would definitely do it again.

The way our luck has been for the past couple of seasons it’s really good to finally be competitive and consistent a big thank you to everyone that has helped me through all these ups and downs and a big shout out to all my sponsors.

Quick practice lap to iron out any issues

Well most definitely a weekend of ups and downs.

Heat 1: 10th - DNF
Felt good in the couple of laps then had a massive fuel leak and couldn’t continue the race

Heat 2: 3rd - 4th
I could put the car wherever I wanted on track and it felt comfortable had a good battle for the 3rd and 4th position

Heat 3: 8th- 5th
It felt like the car was on rails gaining a few positions off the start to then settling in and then made a mistake which cost me 4th but hurt the motor on the last lap and limping across the line ending our night
