We are an amateur soccer club based in Marden, plying our trade in SAASL Saturday Div 2. Our C team will compete in Saturday Division 7 with kickoff at 11am.

Adelaide Blue Eagles Amateur Soccer Club is a well-established Club that has had varied success over a period of over 40 years. We train and play at the fantastic Marden Sports Complex and have access to some of the best facilities in South Australia. This season the club has entered 3 competitive teams, into the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL) Competition. In 2022 the A's and B's will compete in Saturday Division 3 with game kickoff times at 1pm and 3pm for the Reserves & 1st teams respectively.

HEAD COACH ANNOUNCEMENT | 2027 SEASON | JAMES TOTCZYK
We are delighted to announce James Totczyk as our Senior Men’s Head Coach for the 2027 season! 🦅🔵⚪

Following a thorough selection process, James was the standout candidate for the role. His tactical understanding, strong values, and clear football philosophy make him the ideal leader to drive the Adelaide Blue Eagles forward. James’s connection to the club and his proactive, professional approach will set high standards for our senior group as we focus on an ambitious future.

A message from our new Head Coach, James Totczyk:

"Hi everyone,

I’m grateful for the opportunity to step in as Head Coach for the 2027 season and want to thank the club and committee for backing me.

Since moving to South Australia in 2020, this club quickly became home. Having shared the highs, the tough patches, and made lifelong mates, the timing felt right to step up and give something back.

First off, huge credit and thanks to Gian. Stepping in during a transitional year is a massive task, and his hard work showed everyone the potential that already exists in this squad. We’ve got a fantastic platform to build from because of what he put in.

For me, football comes down to two things: clear purpose on the pitch and a tight-knit dressing room off it. We’ll play energetic, proactive football, hold high standards at training, and genuinely enjoy turning up for our mates every week.

Make no mistake, our ambition this year is genuine: we want promotion.

It will take a real whole-of-club effort across all grades, but if we put the work in, the results will follow. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in with the returning lads and welcoming new faces this pre-season.

Adelaide Blue Eagles Amateurs are seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced Head Coach to lead our senior amateur squad for the 2027 season. Backed by the rich football heritage and first-class facilities at Marden Sports Complex, our amateur program provides an ambitious, supportive environment focused on competitive success and player development.
What we're looking for:
⚽ Proven coaching experience (senior or competitive amateur level preferred)
⚽ Strong leadership, communication, and tactical acumen
⚽ Commitment to fostering club culture, discipline, and player development
⚽ Valid coaching accreditation (or working towards)

💙 Thank You, Coach Gian! 💙

On behalf of everyone at the club, we want to extend a massive thank you to our Head Coach, Gian, for his incredible dedication, hard work, and leadership throughout this season.

Gian is held in the highest regard across the entire club by players, staff, and supporters alike. He poured immense passion and energy into guiding our team each week.

As we look to the future, the club has made the difficult decision to appoint a new head coach to take the team forward into its next chapter.

While Gian steps down from the head coaching role, we are absolutely thrilled to share that he is remaining an integral part of our club family! Gian will be switching focus back onto the pitch as a player, while also continuing to support the coaching staff for the upcoming season.

Please join us in thanking Gian for everything he has done and wishing him the best as he laces up his boots and takes on this next phase with us! 🙌⚽

This week sees us travelling to play FC Summit.
With it being so close at the top, another big win for both teams is needed to keep the pressure on.

🏆 ROUND 12 RESULTS 🏆
What a fantastic day for both teams! 🦅
⚽ A's
Up against the top team in Div 3, and both sides came in on a hot streak of form – the first half proved it. A neat finish from James put us 1-0 up 🎯, before a dubious penalty got Cove back into it just before half-time.
After the hairdryer treatment from Gian at the break 🔥, the lads came out for the second half determined to win it. Two more from James completed his hat-trick 🎩⚽⚽⚽ and took the game away from Cove. A nice finish from Ben was the icing on the cake 🍰.
Final score: 4-1 ✅
⚽ B's: Big Win
Missing the mighty Milad, but that didn't stop the goals flying in! 💥 Three goals for Steve 🔥, a couple more from in-form Isaac, and a goal from player-manager Joe wrapped up an easy win on the day.
Final Score: 6-3 ✅

Back at home again this week, and it's a big one – top of the table The Cove make the trip to Marden.

The A's roll into this one on a 3-game winning streak and full of confidence.

The B's are coming off a great bounce-back win last week, following their only loss of the season.

2 very important wins away to Strathalbyn! 🔥

🟦 B's
After suffering our first defeat of the season last week, it was important to bounce back — and the boys delivered. They played some really good footy and controlled the game from the start. 2 quality goals from the ever-dependable Milad. 💪
W 2-0 ✅

🟦 A's
Got their first away win of the season! The lads had to be patient after multiple missed chances, but once the first went in from captain fantastic Sean, the floodgates opened. Sean bagged 2, Ceaser got on the scoresheet again, and then the introduction of Marc took the game away from Strathalbyn with 2 good goals. 🔥
W 5-1 ✅

⚽️ Round 9 Results

Mixed results this week.

The A's took the points in a hard-fought battle against an unbeaten Stirling side — a huge result, winning 2-1! 🔥💪

The B's seemed off the pace after a great start to the season. That 3-week break really took the momentum away. Went down 0-4 this time. 😤

A big thank you to our President for being there early, cooking up the food for everyone. 🙏🔥
