6th Grace International TaalBarahi Cup 2025 – Tournament Journey

ABN United put on a strong performance in Group E at Rydalmere Park on August 10th.
• Match 1: ABN United 🆚 Homebush Rhinos – 3-0 Win
• Match 2: ABN United 🆚 The Rising Gurkhas – 2-1 Loss
• Match 3: ABN United 🆚 Granville Rhinos – 2-1 Win

With two wins from three games, we secured 2nd place in Group E, advancing to the Round of 16.

Facing NFCT in the knockout stage, we came out firing with a 2-0 lead, but the opposition fought back to make it 2-2. The match went to penalties, where we narrowly lost 3-2 in a tense shootout.

A big thank you to our players and supporters — we showed heart, skill, and unity throughout the tournament, and we’ll come back even stronger next time! 💪⚽❤️💙

The 16 year old has been promoted to the first team training squad following an excellent season in the Reserves set up.

The 2nd Silver Ray Cup 2025 was a thrilling showcase of passion, skill, and sportsmanship, bringing together some of the most dedicated soccer talents in the region. With intense competition and incredible team spirit on display, the tournament was a true celebration of the beautiful game.

A huge congratulations to Ramesh Basnet and Arpan Rai for their outstanding performances, each earning Man of the Match honours for their game-changing contributions. Their energy and precision lit up the field and inspired their teams to push harder.

Special recognition also goes to Ksh*tiz Karki, who was awarded Best Defender of the Tournament for his rock-solid presence at the back, consistently shutting down attacks and leading the defense with class and composure.

We look forward to participating in another exciting tournament in the near future, coming together once again to enjoy the sport we all love. ⚽👏

Our team participated in the 2nd Silver Ray Cup 2025 🏆, showcasing determination 💪 and teamwork 🤝 throughout the competition. After a strong run in the earlier stages, we advanced to the semi-finals ⚽, where we faced a tough opponent BNFC 💥. Despite a spirited performance, we were narrowly defeated with a final score of 5-3 🔥, bringing our tournament journey to an end at the semi-final stage.

Congratulations to all the selected players 🎉 that represented the Australian Bhutanese community 🇦🇺🇧🇹 from all over Australia 🌏. Thank you for your time ⏰ and commitment 💯 to this team 🙏.

The experience was valuable, with solid individual and team efforts 👏 that we’ll build on for future competitions 🚀
