🏆MJFC GRAND FINAL DAY – THIS SATURDAY🏆

Our Under 10s and Under 13s seasons are drawing to a close, and what better way to finish than Grand Final Day at the Mansfield Rec Reserve this Saturday.

🏉 Under 10s – 1:00pm
🏉 Under 13s – straight after

The BBQ will be roaring, the sun will be shining, and there’ll be plenty of great junior footy on display. Get on down, support the kids, and help us finish the season on a high.

Presentations will follow in the complex.

Let’s pack the sidelines and cheer them home.

Tough day out in tough conditions for our Eagles on Sunday, with results not going our way in the final round of the home‑and‑away season.

But we now turn our focus to finals, with three Eagles teams proudly representing the club this Sunday in Wangaratta.

Finals – Sunday

• Under 12s vs Benalla Black
9:50am – Wang Showgrounds
• Under 14 Blue vs Bright
11:10am – Wang Showgrounds
• Under 17s vs Wang Tigers
4:35pm – Wang Showgrounds

A huge honourable mention to our Under 14 Gold, finishing just one win outside finals — a fantastic effort and something the whole club is extremely proud of.

Round 16 – Home This Sunday!

We’re back at home for four cracking games to close out the home‑and‑away season. Expect tough contests, wet‑weather footy, and plenty of mud as the kids put on a show.

We’re back at Lords Oval on Saturday morning! Come on down and enjoy junior footy at its finest before the bad weather rolls in on Sunday.
Grab a bacon and egg roll, settle in on the boundary, and watch the kids put on a show. Nothing beats local footy on a crisp Saturday morning.

Round 15 Wrap-Up

A big weekend for Mansfield over in Wangaratta, with plenty of highlights across all age groups.

Under 12s

A brilliant team performance from the U12s, showcasing strong connection and effort across the ground. There were some huge moments — a couple of high flyers, some crunching tackles, and more behinds than goals. The boys might find themselves doing a little extra work in front of the big sticks at training this week.

Under 14 Blue

What a nail‑biter. The pressure was immense from start to finish, with barely a kick separating the sides at each break. The Imperials just managed to edge out the Eagles in the final term. A gallant effort from Blue, who now turn their attention to a massive challenge next week against top‑of‑the‑table Myrtleford.

Under 14 Gold

Gold came out firing early, but the Centrals responded strongly in the second quarter to close the gap to just 10 points at half time. The Eagles lifted again after the break, finishing the game full of run and securing a 14‑point win. Gold are building nicely and making a genuine late‑season surge.

Under 17s

A strong display of team connection and intent from the U17s. They’ll look to carry that momentum into next week, with another big test coming against the top‑of‑the‑table Centrals at home. This one is shaping up to be a cracker.
