Huge news for our club on the eve of the 2026 season 🦅

We’re incredibly excited to announce that the Mintaro Manoora Sporting Club has been successful in receiving a $75,000 grant through the South Australian Football Facilities Fund, which will go towards upgrading our oval lighting at Mintaro 💡

This funding forms part of the legacy of AFL Gather Round, with more than $3.2 million being invested into 33 community football facility projects across South Australia in 2026 - supporting grassroots clubs like ours to grow and improve.

These upgrades will play a key role in improving player safety, increasing training capacity, and creating better facilities for our players, volunteers and supporters both now and into the future.

This outcome wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council, the Mintaro Progress Association and the Mortlock Park Committee, along with the leadership of our Executive — particularly Annie Nicholls as finance director — in engaging a grant writer to help drive our strategic plan forward.
