Manly Beach Running Club Manly Beach Running Club is a friendly social run club in Manly. All abilities welcome, just turn up, run with us and enjoy the community.

Manly Beach Running Club is a welcoming, inclusive run community based in Manly, open to runners of all abilities. We’re about consistency, connection and enjoyment, not chasing Strava segments or stopwatch pressure. Some of our members are training for their first 5km or parkrun, others for marathons and ultras, but everyone runs together in a supportive, friendly environment. You

don’t need to be fast. You don’t need to be experienced. You just need to show up. Our runs are early, relaxed and social, with different pace groups and a strong “no one gets left behind” culture. Many people start by walking, jogging or taking breaks and that’s completely fine. We run year-round and welcome new runners every week. Your first run is free, so you can come along, get a feel for the group, and see if it’s right for you. If you’ve been thinking about starting (or restarting) running and want a positive, encouraging place to do it, we’d love to have you. See you at the beach 🏖️

This sessions isn’t easy but that’s the point

Great results don’t come easy but that’s why they are so rewarding!!

Tuesday is when we find our comfortably uncomfortable pace and get comfortable being uncomfortable

If you need some help being aerobic efficiency and learning how to tune into your body, Tuesday mornings are the session for you!!

What a beautiful start to the day!

Slower is better 100% of the time

For most marathon runners, we want to make our easy pace faster

And the way we do this is by consistently running easily, at a conversational and relaxed pace

The rule is 80/20

This is known as the Pareto principle

It comes up a lot in modern life but especially in running!

80% of your running should be easy

For most of us, our easy pace is actually moderate

For best results follow the 80/20 rule and make your easy pace much easier!!
