Bold & Beautiful Swim Squad is an inclusive, informal group who meet at the southern end of Manly Beach and swim at 7am, 7 days a week from Manly to Shelly Beach and back. All swimmers wear hot pink 'Bold & Beautiful' swim caps, sponsored by ManlyParadise Beachfront Motel and Apartments. The 'Bold & Beautiful' head out from Manly, gather at the point before venturing over to Shelly Beach where we

wait for the last swimmer then depart for our return trip. You can always find a group of 'Bold & Beautiful' re-energising at a local cafe for coffee / brekkie after the swim. Disclaimer: The 'Bold & Beautiful' is an informal activity between a group of friends. You are responsible for your own safety at all times. Anyone is welcome, but everyone is participating at their own risk; this is not an official event and there is no water safety.

     Today was calm, clear and 18.7 degrees. Plenty of cuttlefish and wobbegongs, a large dead floating cuttle bone and a pretty sunrise at the beginning.

     Busy time of year. Winter solstice and nudie swim coming up. Ice Cold Classic on 21 June. Winter badge swim collecting. Calm waters. Cuttlefish. Lots of school fish Dark at 630 but there were people in the swim before!
