Racing called off today at.Magnetic Island Race Week due to strong wind.
As we now lead our class with a second yesterday that will make us the winners of “spinnaker class 3.

Awnings up another rough day with 25 k plus and lots of rain! this is supposed to to be the tropics.
Apart from that a great day on the water La Quinta performing to her best
Just picket the wrong division (Race boats are not cruising boats) and we have plenty of them in our division
Lay day tomorrow
Then three more days of what looks like under 10 K
And apparently the sun will make an appearance!

Another rough rough day in paradise with 25 k wind
Not good for La Quinta having to stop to sort out an alternative main halyard after it broke.
20 min later back into it with a reefed main
At least we finished
The good news is it will help our handicap for the next race
