Belmont Sprints - Best day on the skiff racing calendar and our first day back in the water as a crew since the Nationals.
We did enough to make the final but were only good enough to come home 8th overall.
Congrats to the Law Connect boys on the win, super consistent all day.
Thanks to Belmont 16ft Sailing Club for hosting the event and to the race committee and sponsors - it’s a big day for everyone!

4th overall in the Australian Championship at Belmont 16ft Sailing Club.

We had a fantastic lead in to the regatta and were good enough to win a couple of heats but ultimately lacked the consistency needed to stay in touch with the top 2. Then we were pipped for the podium by our old mates on the Buckingham Marine Services 16ft Skiff Racing Team in the last race.

Congrats to Sarah, Kurt and Keags on an impressive victory on the Bosker, and TB, Scott and Joel on the Shade to Order as runners up. Both teams were a class above the rest of the fleet.

Huge thanks to Adam Beashel and Robert Atkins who worked tirelessly to ensure we were prepared for all conditions.

Looking forward to the next event - back at Belmont for the Sprints.

NSW Champions.

A wild weekend on the water at St George Sailing Club!

We did enough in heat 4 to carry a slim lead into the final day of racing and despite a couple of starts, no further races were completed.
