So we started with cleaning the interior, fond a flip knife, leatherman, and a live round, next was onto pulling the engine as it sounded like it sheared all the flexplate bolts, and whattaya know, i couldnt find a single tight bolt on the engine as someone did a dodgy backyard engine swap. Not only the bolts were loose but there was missing gaskets, i needed to replace the radiator support as couldnt mount any headlights on the passenger side so out that come with force, drilling, and belting the crap out of it, eventually the ute gave in, so mocked up the fitment before removing the engine.
I have obtained a second hand transmission and fitted a stage 2 B&M street strip shift kit and new filter and gasket kit, obtained a steel tray which i have started chopping down, fitted some second hand rear lowering springs, race foam filled fuel cell which Luke and myself mocked up where to mount, cheers mate for your help over the weekend with the tank, the tray and other ideas.

So heres where it begins, myself and my partner decided while at narrogin revheads that we would look at a this vehicle down in denmark,..... and we bought it, but with plans that we will fix, mod and take it to the skids, what a dirty piece of crap it is...... for now

Welcome to the WONTON Burnout ute build and skids, i have recently purchased this vy v6 one tonne ute with intentions to build up and have fun at burnout competitions and open days, i will post as much content over time until the ute is ready to skid, thankyou, happy skidding you glorious bastards
