This was a great few days, thanks for coming to manilla.

Day 2 of Nathan Lyon in Manilla.
Started with a visit to St Michael’s School where the kids were super excited to meet Nathan.
He spoke with kids in there class rooms, took questions and signed autographs.
They had a couple of little surprises for him as well.
Next stop was the Manilla Library for a casual meet and great with some locals including local icons Mr John Barwick and Murray Martin.
We think Nathan was actually more impressed and interested by Johns story’s of cricket in the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s including talking about watching Sir Donald Bradman bat and rattling off scores and game info at will.
The last stop was a Young leaders seminar at the Bowling Club where students from Manilla High school attended and a few members of the public. I’m sure the kids got a lot from this session.
Jacob on behalf of the MDCA also presented to Nathan a Manilla Bowlos Cricket team shirt and thanked Nathan and his crew for taking time to come to Manilla.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to have an Australian Cricket legend in manilla and I’m sure the kids will remember it forever.
