Busy weekend on the track and beach this weekend! WA State Champs for athletics and surf lifesaving. For most of the athletes, this was their first State Champs. Although nervous, they used this to their advantage and ran well 🎉

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 To these amazing ladies who completed their first ever 5km Parkrun this morning in Dawesville. For the past 8 weeks they have gone from jogging 30 seconds to running for 5kms. Their hard work and dedication is fantastic and shows as they reached their goal today. Well done everyone, you have done me proud 🥰

Thank you City of Mandurah MARC/Club Connect Mandurah for another great night at the Mandurah Sports Awards 2022. The highlight without any doubt was Peter Bol. Such an amazing athlete but also such an inspirational and humble person, loved listening to his interesting life story and chatting 800m race tactics. From an Olympic Champion to an old Masters Athlete.

Track season has started 🙌
Training hard at love2run last night 😊
I don’t think we completed one rep without being charged at by a dog. A regular occurrence for us regional athletes with no training facilities, toilets, track or an even surface. Building strong resilient athletes whilst trying to dodge injuries 🏃‍♀️
