How do I get the colours consistent?
my settings are documented and will remain unchanged. i have 2 machines just in case 1 goes down. both requires maintaining every 2nd day.

Where is it made?
Custom made in Melbourne, Australia.

What graphics can I put?
Anything high res, NON-AI and not rude. Make your club stand out with the club colours, like how i took the dark blue of the logo and put it on the bar. Id probably not do country related ones either. We're in a special position where i can edit anything within reason

a few of you know ive upgraded my equipment now which means patch production is even faster.
i usually match the clubs color to the top bar. I dont necessary need my logo on your patch, so you can have control over the full patch.
must it always be dark blue? it seems the ones made in Europe only allow for blue top bar and middle club logo.
ive also added dotted lines and center lines for precision placement so that the seamstress has an easier time.
get in quick - the clubs that help with the development of this will get a cost perks for the whole of 2026!

Be sure to fold the edges in, otherwise if you stitch too close to the edge, the fabric may start fraying!

managed to pool together some budget to upgrade my equipment at the end of the month!
current lead time for individualised back patches: 3 hours to < 2 days. the upgrade will make big patches a breeze
that being said - thanks to the judo clubs who have shown consistent support over the years! I'll return the favour, I dont enjoy playing around with pricing structures, so I'll be in touch!

Sometimes it is worth while for clubs to get their gis embroidered.
Now that ive got embroidery capabilities, small quantities do work to my schedule. Working closely with clubs like Taketani Judo Academy, I've managed to get 3 gis done overnight (design was set up ages ago).
a few factors to consider when thinking about getting custom pieces made:
- How long the supplier takes (speed)
- Time it takes to physically get to the supplier (or shipping costs)
- Cost (of course)
My main focus will be names on belts, but check it! Pretty happy with the result.
Later on in the year I may add custom club names on the shoulder blade. See how everything goes 😁

Kaizen (改善) is a Japanese philosophy meaning "change for the better" or "continuous improvement".

Often I rely on feedback to make products/services better. I use it to improve as a production engineer too!
That being said, the feedback when people saw the customised club/tournament patches were that they wanted one too! this could be beneficial for your club to promote club identity, as a lot of coaches are finding necessary for member retention. its not the main factor but it helps! It even compelled a few to sign up for Senshi Academy 's Grand Prix tournament on 21 - 22 march

Whether you choose to get it from me or not (I can boast a 1 - 3 day lead time, even hours if small qty), use the info above to your advantage! Im launching it as an online order-able product shortly, but am supporting my current customers in the background with what I can!

Adding sewing instructions (which will be hidden anyway) and guidelines so patches can be sewn on properly, easily and every one will look amazing.
Shall I add "3cm from gi collar" on the top of the patch???
this will be standard across the big patches when released.
