Rain stayed away and 14 people enjoyed social bowls, even had a couple of new faces for the first time this season (Maxine and Darren).

Pea & ham soup along with the chicken wings, bread and pudding was well enjoyed by all in attendance.

Winners were Neil Anderson, Ashtyn Krause and Jim Bastian (only just, 2 points up). Runners up Maxine Bell, Yvonne Curnow and Teresa Krause.

We look forward to seeing you all again next week.

Today saw 14 out on the green for social bowls today after a delayed start due to a morning shower.
Due to delayed start (11:20am) it was decided to play one game of 15 ends.
The winners were Sidie, Stevie, Yvonne C and Chris.
Players enjoyed potato, bacon and leek soup made by Teresa, sausages and bread and carrot cake made by Nancy.

Next week we hope will be the usual start time 10am for 10:30am.
If anyone would like to make soup or dessert please let either Teresa or Andrew know by Monday. Raffle donations are always welcomed too.

Today's social bowls saw 20 players enjoying some vitamin D. We also had 12 visitors join us for lunch after Probus this morning.

Today's menu consisted of:

LUNCH
Soups (tomato noodle and pumpkin) made by Nancy B. Cottage/Shepherd's pies (chicken, beef and pork) made by Andrew P.

DESSERT
Homemade self-saucing butterscotch puddings made by Teresa K.

A certain young lady may have stolen my phone to take a few selfies 🤳 with a few of today's participant's but we won't mention any names shall we Sidie? 🤔😂

MBC NEWS

Tomorrow night (Thursday 21st May) the Men's and Women's night singles final will be played. Markers (2) will be required, if you are free and can assist with marking can you please let me (Teresa) or Yvonne Kelly know. Games commencing at 6pm with a roll up around 5:30ish.
