Maleny District Sport and Rec Club An incorporated umbrella organisation whose aims are to promote sport and recreation facilities for Maleny and surrounding districts.

Supporting and promoting all member club's individual endeavours, MDSRC strives to represent its affiliated organisations by positively presenting a collaborative face to all tiers of government, assisting in the search for funding and infrastucture requirements. Currently 60 district sport, service and recreational clubs have affiliated with MDSRC and there are 280 individual members. Works to pr

omote and encourage sport and recreational activities, especially amongst children. Works in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Council and other stakeholders in the development of the Maleny Community Precinct in delivering sporting and recreational facilities for the district. Has a lease on an area of land there called Maleny Sports Park which is being developed for community sport and recreational uses.
