On the weekend we had a little brown gift bag handed into us with 3 little bracelets(I’m assuming children’s) and the two business cards pictured below.

A huge thank you from the Maldon & District Campdraft Committee to everyone who helped make the 2026 Maldon Campdraft such a great success.
This year’s event was particularly special as we honoured and remembered our much-loved club member Tricia James, whose dedication, friendship and contribution to our club meant so much to so many. It was wonderful to have members of the James family travel to Maldon for the weekend to be part of this tribute.
It was also fantastic to see Harold and Tricia’s sons, Aaron James and Jarrod James, not only competing but also making finals and placing during the weekend.
To our competitors who travelled far and wide, our incredible helpers and volunteers working the gates, backyards, scoring, canteen and bar, and our generous sponsors, stall holders, judges, cattle donors and truck drivers. We truly appreciate your support and the time you give to make this event possible.
Thank you also to the spectators who came along and helped create such a great atmosphere over the weekend.
Events like this simply couldn’t happen without the support of so many people, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone involved.
We look forward to welcoming you all back to Maldon in 2027 for another fantastic weekend of campdrafting.
