🐴 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐄

The Malanda Cattle Sale is looking for volunteers to help out with their fundraising BBQ on Saturday 12th September.

They are looking for helpers around breakfast and lunchtime, so if you’re able to spare a few hours and would like to lend a hand, they’d love to hear from you!

🐴 Pony Club Rally Shenanigans! 🤣

Tonight’s challenge was an obstacle course… but there was a twist! 👀

The riders had to tackle the course together, holding onto the same rope between them the entire way! 😂

It was such a fun way to work on confidence, coordination, patience and, most importantly, learning to work with your horse AND your fellow rider.

Some sad news from Babinda Pony Club—

Babinda Pony Club has cancelled their gymkhana for 2026. Unfortunately the grounds have been declared a Restricted Area due to an infestation of Electric Ants. Treatment has been unable to start due to the ongoing wet weather. The timeframe for the follow up treatment is also unknown at this stage. We are very disappointed but looking forward to a great 2027 season.

🐴 CAMPDRAFT CLINIC & OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 🐴

Gordonvale Pony Club is hosting the Campdraft Clinic & Official Championships at the Silkwood Campdraft Grounds on 19–20 September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for riders throughout the Zone to get involved, develop their campdraft skills and compete — with the added bonus of being a qualifier for the 2027 State Championships!
