As the festive season approaches, many riders are looking to upgrade or give someone the gift of micromobility in the form of an e-bike or eRideable!
But beware - buying a non-compliant device could cost you more than you think.
Non-compliant e-bikes and eRideables are illegal to use on WA roads and paths. They can lead to fines (including parents), voided insurance, confiscation and crushing โ not to mention the serious safety risks they present.
Make sure your festive break isnโt soured with a bike or device that is going to land you in hot water!
