Stud Update: A True Testament to Pauline’s Legacy
Yesterday morning started with a bit of panic — my partner woke me to say that Sweetie (Menora Pauline’s Pride) had gotten into her sire Jericho’s paddock.

My heart dropped. She’d gone through a wire fence, and Jericho has never been paddocked with a foal before. It could have ended badly.

But in the true spirit of the horses Pauline bred, it didn’t.

Sweetie was completely unharmed. And Jericho… Jericho was extraordinary. He stayed calm, gentle, and protective. When Sweetie tried to nurse from him, he stood perfectly still so he wouldn’t hurt her — only giving a gentle shake now and then to signal that he wasn’t the milk bar she was looking for.

As soon as I got out there, Sweetie had her first real lesson on being led through gates. Even when she was uncertain, she returned quickly to me for reassurance and placed her trust in my hands. Her willingness to listen and her emotional intelligence took my breath away.

This kind of temperament, softness, and quiet strength is exactly what Pauline worked so hard to preserve in her breeding program. And seeing it shine through in these two — father and daughter — reminds me how lucky I am to carry on her legacy.

Honoring Pauline’s Legacy – A Deeply Personal Privilege

Hello, my name is Kerensa and I’ve been sitting on this post for some time now struggling on how to word it.

I am truly humbled to have been trusted by Pauline during her lifetime with several of her treasured horses. Each one carries a piece of her heart, her vision, and her unwavering dedication to excellence.

Now, with immense gratitude and respect, I’ve also been entrusted by her family with the care of her most precious stallion—a responsibility I carry with deep pride and reverence. Pauline’s family’s desire to continue her beloved work is of great importance to me and their trust in choosing me to take this on means more than I can express.

Pauline poured her soul into Menora Morab & Morgan Stud, building not only remarkable bloodlines but a legacy of love, integrity, and purpose. To be chosen to continue that legacy is one of the greatest honours of my life.

I will protect what she built, nurture the horses she held so dear, and ensure her dream continues to flourish.

Her spirit lives on in every hoofbeat, and I will do my best to make her proud.
