It was great to see Diamond Rats players taking out the awards at Rutherford Cricket Club (our summer cricket team) presentation night last Saturday.

The boys were competing in 3rd grade Div 1 in the Maitland District Cricket Association competition.

Dylan Duffin - Player of the year.
Jason Morris - Most runs.
Drew Garland - Most wickets.
Will Blain - Captains award.

Hopefully the guys continue their form into the Maitland Last Man Stands Winter T20 league and the new season of indoor cricket.

The Rats take their 5th title.

After another great season of indoor cricket, The Diamond Rats are the Champions again.

The Rats finished the season with 11 wins and only 3 losses, winning the Grand Final tonight in a tough match against The Big Show.

The Big Show batted first and were kept to a score of 73.

While it wasn’t the biggest total to chase, the Rats knew it was gonna be tough as the Big Show have been a hard team to beat all season.

But the Rats got the job done, finishing on 95 and taking this seasons title.

Will Blain had a great game and was the MVP of the match.

Now that the Diamond Rats 2025 Last Man Stands T20 cricket and Indoor cricket seasons have finished we would like to thank all of our amazing sponsors for their support this year, your support really made it a great year of cricket for us.
While we missed out on the silverware this year, we still made the semi finals in both formats and we always gave it our best shot.
