We know farmers love the rain... but does that count when it's raining on Show Day?

We headed up to Crystal Brook Show on 8 August, partnering with Flinders University International Centre for Point-of-Care Testing, and helped provide 50+ FREE tests to community members!

Despite the mud, it was a pretty good turn out - a big thank you to the Port Pirie Regional Council for their support to get us there 💛

And, to the local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle; Cargill, Rocky River Ag Services, Emmetts Crystal Brook, Platinum Ag Services - Crystal Brook and Little Edon, thank you!

Big shout out to the Fat Farmers Crystal Brook Champion / Crystal Brook Show President Andrew Sargeant, and all the people working behind the scenes to make this happen - you're all legends 😎

Alice is finally in Kokoda!
Last week, Jane, Lou and Emerson gifted her a super light-weight chair as a little 'good luck and thank you' gift 🪑

She has been raising money for Fat Farmers - with a goal of $10k - aiming to get another Health Hub on the road and provide more equipment into communities.

💛 The current total is just over $9,200, if you can, please help her hit the $10k by the time she gets back!

Location 1 on the Health Hub's Road Trip was at Sheepvention Rural Expo in Hamilton a few weekends ago 🐑

Partnering with National Centre for Farmer Health and SISU Health Group, we helped deliver 50+ FREE Health Checks... which lead us to reach a HUGE milestone!

💙 We hit over 1,000 FREE Health Checks since July 2025! 💙

With the majority of those in the first six months of this year, it's clear to see that we're making a real difference in rural communities across SA and Vic. It also equates to roughly 1 in 7 returning a 'high risk' result.

This event is supported by a Look Over the Farm Gate grant provided by Agriculture Victoria under the Victorian Government's 2025 Drought Support Package.
