A huge congratulations to our 2nd grade skipper Nathan Pearson on his selection!!

The Cricket NSW Masters 50s/55s Board and selection committee thoroughly congratulate these outstanding players on being selected for Over 50s NSW team to play in a 4 way tournament with Victoria O50s, Mackay Masters and Townsville Masters in Mackay on the 23, 24 & 26 July 2026. Led by Captain Dave Newham, the side selected are of a Div 2 or Div 3 capacity for Nationals, giving these fringe players a chance to show their wares for future higher representation for NSW.

Let your captain/manager know about the accommodation requirements asap.

NSWCUSA has an off season Level 2 Accreditation coming up being held locally at Branxton Golf Club.

This is a 1 Day course being conducted by NSWCUSA Education Officer Ben Treloar on Sunday 31st May from 8.30 am to 5pm with the option to sit the Level 2 exam online the following week. (On the evening of your choice)

Cost of the course is $15 to non NSWCUSA members.

With several changes being made to MCCs Laws of Cricket this is a great opportunity to upskill or reacquaint yourself with the Laws of Cricket.

Calling all female players! This is a fantastic opportunity to play in a regular season all girls competition representing Maitland

Maitland District Cricket Association is seeking expressions of interest from female cricket participants who would like to be part of a Women’s team competing in the Newcastle District Cricket Association (NDCA) Women’s T20 competition for the 2026/27 season.

Competition details:
Format: NDCA Women’s T20
Season: 2026/27 (Mid October – Early March)
Game day: Wednesday nights
Start time: 5:00pm
Location: Grounds across the Newcastle region

On behalf of everyone at City United, we pass on our deepest sympathies to Stueys family and the Griffins community. Stuey was a fierce competitor on the field and one of the best blokes to match.
His legacy will live on through his family and the Maitland cricket community.
RIP mate.

It is with much sadness that we wish to inform the community of ESCC Life Member Stuart Pannowitz's passing.
It is hard to put into words nor can it be measured the true value of Stuart's contributions to his beloved ESCC.
As a long term player, coach and executive of our club Stuart has no peers with many hailing him as our greatest ever Griffin.
But Stuey was much more then that, he was also a great friend to many, incl those who had the pleasure of playing against him.. Stuarts passion for Easts never waivered, nor shall his memory.
Funeral details will be shared once known.

Sorry I can not be at the Presentations tomorrow. I wanted to take the time to thank all sponsors, volunteers, parents and players for their contribution during the season. Congratulations to all award winners, representative honours, personal achievements, and progress in your cricketing journey throughout the year. Enjoy the presentations and look forward to a great 2026-27.
