IPOD SHUFFLE NIGHT & B**R PONG TOURNAMENT

Saturday November 7 — it’s time for the bigger kids (aka the adults) to have a night together!

Pick one song, add it to the iPod Shuffle playlist and see if your song makes it into the final three. The last three songs on the playlist will take home a cash prize!

We’re also running a b**r pong tournament, and there’s one very important rule: you and your b**r pong partner MUST dress as an iconic duo. Think Batman and Robin, Shrek and Fiona, dumb and dumber — the more iconic, the better. Go all out!

Tickets are $15 and include finger food and a drink.

The night kicks off at 7pm, with the iPod Shuffle playlist starting at 7:30pm.

Grab your tickets, find your iconic duo partner and start planning those costumes!

Main Ridge cricket club is fundraising with Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme. This year, we’re fundraising for a new score board.

We’re a registered donation partner and you can find us in the CDS Vic app to donate your refund when you drop eligible drink containers at a refund point.
Support MRCC and the environment at the same time. Collect your eligible drink containers and donate your refund to us.

We’ve done such a great job fundraising already that Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme has recognised us and provided us new balls. Thanks!

STANDOUT PERFORMANCE:

A Maiden 5 wicket Haul for Jackson McDonald took the second XI from a precarious position in the field at 2/125 to incredibly only chasing 152. You won’t find a harder worker at training or a better teammate than Jacko and we are thrilled to see him reaping the rewards of his exceptional pre season and his consistently high training standards

Well done, Jacko!

STANDOUT PERFORMANCE:

Congratulations to Charlie Banks for scoring his maiden hundred for the first XI during Saturday’s game. His sensational knock propelled the first XI to an emphatic win in their first game of the season and is a great reward for his outstanding pre season and all the extra work he consistently puts in.

Congratulations 🐈

A Huge thank you to everyone who attended the Ridge Rodeo on Saturday night! With over 140 people through the doors during the afternoon and evening, it was one of the biggest Main Ridge Functions ever. To all the players, Partners, Families and Friends, thank you so much for being a part of such a fun evening, and for being a part of our incredible little (but rapidly growing) family club.

A special mention to our resident MasterChef, Jules who once again put on an incredible feed for so many people, what an amazing job you do for the club, we can’t thank you enough!

And to everyone involved with the planning, organizing and decorating, a huge thank you to you, these nights simply couldn’t happen without the long and many hours spent behind the scenes.
