🎾 Main Ridge Tennis Club Championships

This Sunday, 11 October, we held our annual Main Ridge Tennis Championships, celebrating not only competition, but also the progress, dedication and sportsmanship of our players.

All participants demonstrated excellent effort, significant improvement in their matchplay, and a fantastic attitude throughout the day. It was wonderful to see everyone embracing the challenge and putting their hard work into practice on court.

Congratulations to all our winners and runners up, and well done to every participant for contributing to such a fantastic day of tennis!

A great reflection of the commitment, development and spirit of our tennis community.

A BIG THANK YOU TO GUZMAN Y GOMEZ MORNINGTON!

We would like to thank Guzman y Gomez Mornington for generously providing our Player of the Week vouchers for the Dromana and Main Ridge Junior Competition teams.

Each week, a player from every team match will be recognised for demonstrating an outstanding attitude, great effort and excellent sportsmanship on court.

It is a great way to acknowledge the qualities that make a difference beyond the scoreboard and encourage our juniors to continue developing as players and people.

Thank you for supporting our local tennis community and helping us recognise the values that matter most in sport!

Another great day and another opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from a great group of speakers as part of the Victoria Emerging Leaders Program run by Tennis Victoria.

This time we were at the historic Ikon Park, home of the Carlton Football Club. An amazing venue with so much history and so many memorable football moments. The recent redevelopment was also an eye opener, showcasing just how impressive modern training facilities can be for professional athletes.

Today we covered a range of topics, including wellbeing through leadership, marketing and continuing to develop a clear vision for our businesses.

Another great experience, great conversations and plenty to take away and implement.

Looking forward to continuing the journey and learning much more next year.
