Preseason is officially kicking into gear at Kensi for the junior boys🏏🤎💛

Our U13, U14 and U15.5 boys recently came together for their Junior Welcome Night at the Kensington Gardens Bowling & Sports Club.

It was a great chance for players and families to catch up, meet some new faces and get excited for the season ahead.

With another Academy Welcome Night also coming up in the next few weeks, there’s plenty happening around the club as we build towards season 2026/27.

🏏 Over 50s & Over 60s Cricket at Kensi! 🤎

We’re looking for a few more players as we finalise our SAMCA teams for the 2026/27 season.

Our goal is to field both an Over 50s and a new Over 60s side, but we need a few more players to make it happen!

If you’re over 50—or know someone who is—come along and get involved. Whether it’s a family member, friend, neighbour or workmate, we’d love for you to spread the word.

🏏 Join us for a relaxed hit, or if you’re not keen on training, come down for a beer and a chat from around 11:30am at Kensi.

The more interest we have, the more opportunities we’ll be able to offer this season.

Registrations are now open for the Kensington Girls’ Cricket Academy! 🌟

Whether you’re picking up a bat for the first time or looking to take your game to the next level, our academy is the perfect place to learn, improve and have fun in a supportive environment.

📅 Mondays | 5:00pm – 6:30pm
🗓️ 19 October – 7 December 2026
🗓️ 1 February – 1 March 2027
📍 Parkinson Oval, Kensington Gardens Reserve
👧 Girls aged 9–13
🏏 All experience levels welcome

Our 12-week program focuses on:

📣 Women’s Program Coaching announcement 📣

We’re excited to announce the appointment of Cameron Carroll as Head Coach of our 1st Grade Women’s team for the 2026/27 season.

Cam joins the Browns with extensive high-performance coaching experience across pathway and representative programs both locally and interstate. His knowledge, leadership and passion for developing players will be a fantastic addition to our Women’s Program, and we’re thrilled to welcome Cam and his family to the Club.

Following this appointment, Jamie Panelli will transition into the newly created role of Women’s Program Director, where he will oversee the continued growth and development of the program across our senior teams, junior competitions, Girls Academy and coaching group.

We’re excited to welcome Cam to the Browns and look forward to an exciting new chapter for our Women’s Program. 💛🤎
