SSN Grand Final Watch Party
4 July 2026 - 6.30 (Match starts at 7pm)

Please refer to the email, seeking expressions of interest for people who would like to gather together to watch the Adelaide Thunderbirds play in the SSN Grand Final at The Kensi.

Please note that the Wine Bar, which has a large screen, has been placed on hold (for 48 hours) for Morialta members, but will be released if we cannot fill the space. Additionally, if there are too many people, it will be offered on a first-in best-dressed basis.

Food and drinks can be ordered at the bar and you can use your KENSI card (collect one from the club canteen if you don't have one.)

We are officially past the halfway mark of the season, and the growth across all areas of the club has been incredible to watch! Thank you to everyone for continuing to play fair and putting "The Morialta Way" on full display each week.

⭐️5. Amanda (17A Manager): Super organized, keeps Kim in check, and the absolute go-to if you want a 100% accurate score!

We had some absolutely horrendous weather to kick off the morning yesterday, but we were so thankful the rain decided to hold off for most of the afternoon so we could get some cracking netball in!

A massive thank you to our amazing sponsors at The Kensi for making this award possible! If you haven't been down there recently, they are currently undergoing some absolutely fabulous renovations. With a warm and inviting atmosphere and a seriously great feed, it’s the perfect spot for the family to warm up and grab a bite after a chilly game day.

Here are this week's incredibly deserving nominees:

⭐️1. Renee (Manager 11A) - Always prepared to help out! Even though she wasn't rostered on, Renee pitched in to help set up and brought back freshly washed tablecloths for the BBQ. It's the little things like this that make a massive difference to our club. Thank you, Renee!

⭐️2. Evie (13D) - Our leading goal scorer was absolutely on fire, shooting an amazing 33 goals yesterday! Her skills are improving every single game. Evie's determination, movement in the ring, and dependability make her an unbeatable asset on the court.

⭐️3. Onara (11C) - Onara showed incredible focus by listening closely during training and putting exactly what was shown to the team into practice during yesterday's game. To top off a brilliant week, she also picked up a Yo-chi award!

⭐️4. Violet (15B) - Violet is in seriously great form! She has been a dedicated member of the club for 8 years and does an amazing job helping her team bond. With a great sense of humor, she leads by example and shows true grit with her determination to not be beaten.

⭐️5. Anna (13C) - Anna brings a fabulous attitude to the courts! She shows great listening skills at training and has a genuine determination for continuous improvement. Not only is she one of the nominees for the Star of the Week, but she also scored a bonus Yo-chi voucher!
