Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre is proud to advocate for water safety, swimming education, and drowning prevention within our community.
As a supporter of the Swim It Forward campaign, we are committed to helping remove barriers that prevent people from accessing vital swimming and water safety education. Swim It Forward provides opportunities for individuals and families to participate in swimming lessons, develop essential life-saving skills, and build confidence in and around the water.
Every person deserves the opportunity to learn how to swim and stay safe around water. By supporting this initiative, we can help create safer, more inclusive communities and empower future generations with skills that last a lifetime.
We encourage our community to join us in making a difference by supporting our Swim It Forward fundraising campaign: https://asf.org.au/campaigns/swim-australia/macquarie-university-sport-and-aquatic-centre-swim-it-forward
Together, we can help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be safer, stronger, and more confident in the water.
This World Drowning Prevention Day, we're asking our community to Unite the Tide so more children like Finn can learn the life saving skill of swimming.
Finn has not only grown in confidence in the water but also found a greater sense of belonging with his classmates.
As his mum Hannah says, "I'm so grateful that he can be safer in the water now."
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn to swim and stay safe around water.
By uniting the tide, we can help make that possible for more families.
