Baby Gym

Baby Gym Baby Gym is a program for babies and toddlers. One hour classes involve individual exercises, music, games and free play on specialised equipment.

We have massage classes for babies through to gymnastic classes for 3 year olds.

Thank you so much for your lovely messages!
I have so many wonderful memories of Baby Gym. I was one of the lucky ones who was always happy at work!

However I must say I am very much enjoying retirement. All the clichés are true!!
It was an honour to have spent time with you and your little ones.

Baby Gym closed on July 30 2021.

And will not be reopening.

I have been surprised by the amount of enquiries since restrictions have eased, so I wish you all luck in finding a suitable program.

The restriction on numbers has been lifted!!
So the Friday classes can go back to normal this week (the last day of the term).
9.30 T. G. 2
10.30 T. G. 1
11.30. B. G. 2
I will see you all at your normal classes

Hi everyone, now it’s time to restart Wednesday classes. We still have restrictions on class sizes. This is what I propose:
The 9.30 class will start at 9.00. Don’t worry if you are a little late just come as early as you can!
The 10.30 class will split into 2 classes 10.00 and 11.00. I will need 4 volunteers for the 11.00 class
There are no restrictions on Baby Gym 1 classes but the start time will be at 12 noon.
The crawling class will start at 1 pm.
If you are ok with this could you please ‘like’ the post so I know who has seen it and who I need to contact.
Masks will have to be worn in the hall.
We will only be able to have one carer with each toddler and no older siblings. (babes in arms are okay)!
Thanks and hope to see you all on Wednesday. Just a reminder that this is the last week of Term 2.
PS it all worked like clockwork on Friday!! Thank you so much for for your cooperation and flexibility. 😊

Unfortunately there is a restriction on numbers in each group!!
This means we will have to split the 10.30 class

This is what I propose: The 9.30 class starts at 9 am. Don’t worry if you are a bit late just come as early as you can!

The 10.30 class splits into 10.00 and 11.00. I need 4 volunteers ASAP for the 11.00 class!!

The 11.30 class starts at 12.00.

Let’s do it!! It will probably be for just this week.
I will send out texts so everyone is clear. I am looking forward to hearing from my four volunteers…it all hangs on you!!( no pressure )😅

Things are looking up!! I think we will be able to open on Friday. I will have to get confirmation from the council and I am hoping that will not take as long as last week. I think you should plan to be at Baby Gym on Friday or next Wednesday but I will be in touch later today or tomorrow 😊😊

I heard from the council this morning and there will be NO Baby Gym this week.
Very disappointing but I am sure you all understand.

Hi everyone, I am sorry that I cannot give you a clear answer yet but I don’t think we can start back on Friday as the restrictions on community halls are not completely lifted. I am awaiting a call to let me know exactly…but on the information so far I think it might be next week.
I will let you know as soon as I can!!

I am sure you are just as aware as I am that there will be no Baby Gym until Friday June 11 at least!!
I hope you are all coping and at least have been able to enjoy this sunshine.

When we get back together I will arrange credits unless you want to take it off next terms fees. We will sort out what suits each of you. Look after yourselves, Sue

Oh my goodness! I just saw that I made a huge mistake in the last post! It should read ‘I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will reopen next Friday June 4.
So sorry about that. I hope it wasn’t a ‘Freudian slip’.
I will be starting as soon as we get the all clear. Stay safe💕
