🦁 MAD MONDAY PIT STOP 🦁 A couple of the lads from Mackay Lions dropped in mid-way through their Mad Monday celebrations yesterday - just to rip a quick Mega Box before getting back on the crawl.

Instead of teams, the 26 spots match up to letters A through Z.

On the day, every spot will be randomly assigned a letter. Any card we pull where the person’s FIRST NAME starts with your letter belongs to you.

So if you draw A and we pull Anthony Edwards - that card is yours. Draw P and hit Pikachu - yours.

It might be a bit chaotic, it's definitely a bit different AND it will give you a crack across a heap of completely different products without spending big.

A huge happy birthday to Sarah Lipke and the team at Bookish Burrow on celebrating their first year!

We’re still the new kids on the block, so it’s pretty cool watching a local business that’s already been out there doing the hard yards, building a following and creating such a great little community around what they love.

🚗💨 THIS TIME NEXT WEEK… WE’RE HITTING THE ROAD! 💜💛 Next weekend, Sugar City Sports Cards is packing up and heading to Airlie Beach for the Whitsunday Card Show!

We’re so excited to get amongst it - meeting more collectors, checking out what’s around, making some new connections and hopefully bringing a heap of fresh stock back to Mackay.

Because we’ll be away, the store will be CLOSED from 2PM Friday 25 September until Monday 28 September at 9:30AM.

🔥 THREE 1/1s IN THREE MONTHS! 🔥 The Sugar City Sports Card hot streak continues!!

This Yan Xiaonan 1/1 Auto was pulled from a 2026 Topps Chrome UFC Hobby Box picked up from the store in a pretty unique way - our customer in Airlie Beach jumped on speaker phone while his mate came in to grab a box for him.

One box later… BOOM - 1/1! 🤯

That makes it three 1/1s pulled from UFC boxes bought in store in as many months - with this one being pulled on the exact same day at our store's three month anniversary.

We absolutely love seeing cards like this come out of stock from the shop - and we’re keen to see how long this run can keep going!
