⚙️What do you ride? Speedco carbon

⚙️How old were you when you started? 6ish

⚙️Race Number/ Why you picked it? 129, can’t remember entirely. Started as 29 and shifted to 129

⚙️What do you love about BMX?
Personally I love the challenge, adrenaline and flow state can you achieve on the bike. The community and friendships are also a huge part, you get the opportunity to meet people and make friends across the world if you’re lucky enough.

⚙️Fav Track or Carnival and why?
Fav track - Sleeman/ Brisbane BMX SX. It’s the favourite one we have designed and built and one of my favourites I’ve ever ridden too. 2026 World champs should be epic!

⚙️Top BMX Memory? Tough call, there’s so many!

⚙️ Pre Race traditions/Post Race traditions? Be prepared and stick to your own routine. Avoid getting caught in race day hype. Eat well, hydrate and look after the body.

⚙️ Name someone you always enjoy riding with/against
Anyone who has some fun and poses a good challenge.

⚙️ Who inspires you? Always look to the greats of the sport and outside of the sport for inspiration. Hard to look past Joris when it comes to this, but when I was riding more I admired others like Sam Willoughby and Maris Strombergs.

⚙️ 2026 Goals?
Final at world champs in Masters, race Superclass at QLD state champs.

⚙️ Words of wisdom for beginning riders.
Enjoy, work hard/ train hard, work on your weaknesses, find a good coach when the time is right. Enjoy the journey of racing, results come and go but the sport can really help shape the person you are and teach you a lot of life lessons. Sometimes the unseen personal wins/ lessons that can’t be seen on the score sheet are the most impactful ones.

⚙️ Is it true you have to roll your new race gear on the track or you'll stack?
Not true, I also don’t believe that saying “one more” is bad luck. I think this falls under the banner of “If you say you can, or you can’t, you’ll be right”

⚙️ Coach shout out?
Mick Wallin was my first coach, so it’s cool to still ride with him. Otherwise shout out to all the coaches that take the time to coach the next generation of riders in our sport. It’s so important

Mackay, because it’s my home track

Making finals in my first Nationals at Perth last year.

Run around playing tag with my friends

⚙️ Name someone you always enjoy riding with/against
I love riding against the boys in Mackay at club night and Stevie Reichelt (Moranbah) for carnivals, we are good friends, she challenges me and we're always happy for each other whatever the result

⚙️ Who inspires you?
I have to say Saya Sakakibara and I even met her in Perth (and her boyfriend Romain Mahieu- Bronze medallist) they were really nice.

⚙️ 2025 Goals?
Am heading to World Champs in Denmark as part of the Aussie team, so would love to make the finals, but mostly to know I did my best.

Don’t give up and get back up when you fall down

⚙️Race Number/ Why you picked it?
My race number is 606 as that is my birthday.

⚙️What do you love about BMX?
I love the competitiveness and adrenaline that the sport gives as well as the mates you make along the way.

⚙️Fav Track or Carnival and why?
My favourite track was Nant in France, it was built especially for the World Championships and dismantled soon after. My favourite Carnival is Weekend of Madness in Moranbah, it’s always such a fun weekend.

⚙️Top BMX Memory?
Racing the 2022 BMX World Championships in Nantes France. The atmosphere was amazing, the track was beautiful and met heaps of cool people while over there.

⚙️ Pre Race traditions/Post Race traditions?
Big Breakfast. Yellow Gatorade.

⚙️ Name someone you always enjoy riding with/against
I enjoy riding with and racing against the Asmus Brothers—they’re always friendly, full of great advice, and constantly challenge me to improve both on and off the track.

Achieve work/BMX life balance 😭
