Wow! What an amazing weekend we had at Hockey Mackay. The Tim Mulherin Shield had a goal of raising $5000 for Cancer Research. We absolutely smashed this goal by falling just short of $6000 🤯. Whilst raising money some hockey was also played. Souths have had a hold on this shield being 3 time winners in a row after the first two iterations ending in draws. But this year we have finally come away with the shield winning 6 of the 8 games scheduled. All games were played in great spirits and with everyone coming together after to celebrate with a drink.
Special Shoutouts must go to Bayden King, Rory Mulherin, Adrian Martin and Rob Russett who all put their hair on the line to raise these funds! 😈🍺

Hi Norths Families,

This weekend is a very special one for one of our former Norths players, Declan Mulherin, who continues to have a strong connection with our club through the Tim Mulherin Shield.

Declan and his family will be at the hockey this weekend for what is always one of the most special events on our hockey calendar.

Please find the draw attached. If you are able to stick around throughout the day and support all of our Norths teams, it would be greatly appreciated. It would be wonderful to show our support for Declan and his family and help make the day even more memorable.
