Congratulations to Barry Jansen on being awarded life membership with Queensland Cricket. A well deserved recognition for decades of service to the growth and development of cricket not only in Mackay but across the whole state.👏
Thabks for everything you have done especially for cricket in Mackay🏏👏🎉

At the QC AGM on Tuesday evening a very proud Barry Jansen was awarded Life Membership of Queensland Cricket.
In this, the 150th year of Queensland Cricket it seemed fitting that this honor was awarded to Barry.
Barry has been involved in cricket in Mackay specifically and broadly around North Queensland and Queensland Country for around 48 years. He was one of the forward thinkers that got Harrup Park Complex to where it is today. He has been a wonderful administrator and a very passionate supporter. Barry was also on the Board of Queensland Cricket for a number of years.
His wonderful wife Janet was with Barry on Tuesday evening as the Life Membership was presented by QC Board Chair, Kirsten Pike.

We thank you Barry Jansen for your dedication and passion for the game and our heartiest congratulations to you on receiving of this honor.
