Due to an incredible turnout at our recent trials and the quality of our junior players, Mackay Touch is aiming to announce a SECOND TEAM in both the U/14 Boys and U/14 Girls divisions for the 2026 Rep season!

We are now looking for passionate coaches to lead these teams and help develop our local talent.
We are seeking applicants for:
🔹 Head Coach – U/14 Boys (Second Team)

🔹 Assistant Coach – U/14 Boys (Second Team)

🔹 Head Coach – U/14 Girls (Second Team)

🔹 Assistant Coach – U/14 Girls (Second Team)

Requirements:
✅ Current Blue Card
✅ Minimum Foundation Level Coaching Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
✅ A positive, supportive attitude and a love for the game!

📢 HUGE thanks to Brett from Banisters Transport for coming on board again this season helping us in hooking up the Magpies Stars with our awesome new carnival playing kit! 🏉✨
The team is looking sharp and ready to hit the field in style for the Whitsunday Cup in Airlie Beach.

Congratulations to two of our Magpies Stars 🌟 girls Rylie Hanson and Milly McCosker (pictured here on each end - with fellow Mackay player Yindee Robertson)

The girls spent the last week in Roma competing at the QRSS State Championship. They were lucky enough to come away with a 3rd place 🥉

Milly was rewarded with selection into the QLD Squad.

Well done girls. We are proud of you.
