Open at Caneland Central from 14 September to 1 October, 2017. ALL SKATERS MUST WEAR SOCKS (we find that thick, calf-length socks are best). GLOVES AND HELMETS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR SAFETY (If you have these at home, you can bring them along. Otherwise we have helmets you can borrow for free and gloves you can purchase for $4 a pair). ISK. Entry is $15 per session or $65 for a full season pass (one visit each day), per person, not transferable. You don't have to pre-purchase tickets, but if you do pre-purchase, it will secure your spot. To pay in advance, you can either use a credit card, transfer cash into our account or call in and see us in the big white marquee in the Timezone carpark at Caneland Central Shopping Centre. Come skating day, we let those in who have booked and paid first, then if there is room on the ice we will allow walk-ups. If you would like to use your card now, simply call the skating hotline on 04 1234 4941 between 8am & 9pm, or you can send us a PM with your phone number and we’ll give you a call in the next day or so to finalise details. Some sessions will not be open to the general public due to group bookings. All sessions go for one hour. All session times are subject to change, so keep an eye on 'Mackay Ice Skating' on facebook for the latest updates. Children can skate from the age of two. Anyone under five years old should bring shoes (like sandshoes or joggers) and socks because they might like to try the double bladed skates that clip on. These skates seem to be easier & they're free to use. We also have penguin skate aids you can hire for $8. We only have 5 penguins so we suggest you book and pay for this in advance if you're interested. We do have a strict no refund policy so please be sure to only book the patrons you are sure will be attending.
