🏆 CLUB PERSON AWARD 🏆
Congratulations to Emma Kelly, who was proudly awarded our Club Person Award in recognition of the incredible time, effort and dedication she gives to our club. 💛🤎
Emma is truly one of those people who goes above and beyond for our club and its people. We honestly wouldn’t be in the position we are today without everything she does, both behind the scenes and as one of the familiar faces of the club.
As our Secretary, her role is already a huge one — but Emma’s contribution goes far beyond that. She’s organising, planning, coordinating, playing, capturing moments behind the lens, supporting our teams and volunteers; always finding another way to help.
The reality is, Emma is currently doing the job of three people, and while she does it all with incredible commitment, we’d love to see some extra hands come forward to help share the load. 💛🤎
Our AGM will be held in early November, and we’ll be looking for some additional volunteers to step up and help Emma and our committee continue to build our club. Keep an eye out for more details coming soon.
So much of what Emma does happens quietly (and sometimes loudly! 😂) in the background, but it makes a massive difference to everyone involved.
And a special mention to Wade Kelly — who not only lends a hand himself and gives constantly to our Club, but also deserves some credit for sharing Emma with us! 😂 We’re pretty sure the Hawks have borrowed her more than their fair share over the year, so thank you Wade for letting us keep her and yourself busy! 💛🤎
Emma, thank you for everything you give to our club. Your time, energy, commitment and genuine care for our people never go unnoticed. ❤️
