Sunset Bay Outrigger Canoe Club Inc Sunset Bay Outrigger Canoe Club inc is situated next to the Eimeo SLSC at Eimeo Beach Esplanade. Bring hat, sunscreen, water. Suitable clothing as can get wet.

We welcome all new and past members and all equipment is supplied. Training times
Tuesday - 5pm Safety Brief/Prep on the water 5.30pm - 6.30pm
Thursday- 5pm Safety Brief/Prep on the water at 5.30pm - 6.30pm
Saturday- Summer time 5.30am Safely Brief/Prep on the water at 6am
Winter time - 6.00am on water 6.30am

Beginners welcome. All equipment supplied.

For many paddlers it was their first time, for some it was reliving memories from attending ‘back in the good old days’ 😎
For everyone, it was a truly memorable time on the water coming together as a small club 🤩
Some bling came home 🏅
Some old friendships rekindled 🥰
Some new friendships formed 😁
Will we return ………. Hell yah 🥂

The Hamilton Island Cup events team is still looking for additional support boats for the big race on Sunday 21 June.

If you know anyone with a suitable boat, please share this around and help spread the word. The event needs as many support boats as possible to ensure a safe and successful race day.

All raffles were drawn Sunday at the end of racing with results broadcast live - all winners have been notified 🥇

The lolly jar held 318 lollies tightly packed in - lots of sugar highs for the winner 😵‍💫

A huge thank you again to all clubs who travelled to join in with the races over a big weekend of paddling 🏝️🚣‍♂️
