💛❤️ Bluewater Lagoon Armband Policy ❤️💛

At Bluewater Lagoon, safety is our number one priority.

To help our lifeguards identify patrons who may need extra attention, we use a simple armband system:

💛 YELLOW High-Visibility Armband
All children 5 years and under are required to wear a yellow armband while visiting the Lagoon. These bright bands help our team quickly identify our youngest guests in and around the water.

❤️ RED Assistance Armband
Red armbands are available for patrons who may require additional assistance or support during their visit. This helps our lifeguards provide an extra level of awareness and care.

✅ Armbands are available from our friendly front entry team.

Together, we can create a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone at Bluewater Lagoon.

🚫SMART GLASSES AT PUBLIC SWIMMING FACILITIES 🚫

With the rising interest and availability of smart glasses, which allows recording of people without their knowledge or consent, council is reminding the community these items are not permitted at public swimming facilities.

This rule applies to the Bluewater Lagoon, Pioneer Pool, Memorial Pool and the MARC.

Council will continue to work with venue operators Belgravia Leisure and DMR Leisure - Mackay Memorial Swimming Centre to ensure a safe environment for all patrons.

Our lifeguards are trained to supervise the pool and respond in emergencies, but parents and carers play the most important role in keeping children safe around water.

When visiting our venue, stay close, stay engaged, and keep your focus on children in and around the water, at all times. By working together, we can help create a safer and more enjoyable aquatic experience for everyone.
