This term our key focus in lessons has been developing the kids rally skills and learning about gameplay.
During the term each lesson ran their first ever hotshots match play event, learning fundamentals such as showing good sportsmanship, how to score, where to stand while playing points and learning the rules.
We saw some incredible rallies, great sportsmanship, had lots of questions and exploration around the rules and gameplay and most importantly we saw lots of smiles and fun being had while playing.
Congratulations to everyone who played, we have seen amazing improvements across all group classes!
Hotshots match play is a great way to bridge the gap between structured lessons and real game situations in a fun and safe environment. Helping to build confidence and put into action all you have practiced in lessons.
