📣FOOTBALL PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT📣

As our under 19's footballers head into a preliminary final we are super excited to announce their skipper Jackson Alabaster has committed to the Cats for 2027.

Joining the MFNC in 2023, he has played 56 club games and made his senior footy debut this season where he slotted into the forward line beautifully and kicked a goal. Our footy focus at Macedon revolves around the development of younger players like "Jacko".

2027 has seen him evolve as a leader, as a footballer and most importantly as a quality young man. We all look forward to the next phase of his journey at Ontime Delivery Solutions Oval.

📣APPLICATION ARE NOW OPEN!

Macedon FNC is on the lookout for netball coaches for the 2027 season.

We’re looking for coaches for:

🏐 B Grade
🏐 C Grade
🏐 D Grade
🏐 Under 19s

This is your chance to be part of the Macedon Cats netball program and help develop the next wave of Cats talent.

We’re looking for people who are committed to player development, open to feedback, willing to learn, and ready to be part of a positive, connected coaching group.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to love netball, care about our players, and be prepared to keep learning, growing and building alongside our Head Coach Katie Clarke and coaching team.

Bonus points if you can run a sharp drill, manage a bench, give calm quarter-time feedback and somehow still know where every bib has disappeared to.

A big weekend of finals footy and netball, with all three Macedon teams still alive!
Our Reserves and C Grade got the wins, while our U19 Footballers will regroup and go again.
Now it all comes down to next weekend — all three teams will play for their spot in the GRAND FINAL!

FINALS – ROUND 1

A tough weekend of finals footy and netball, with a few results that didn’t fall our way.
For some of our teams, their 2026 season comes to an end. While it may not have finished the way they had hoped, there is plenty to be proud of after some brilliant football and netball throughout the year.

For C Grade, Reserves and our U19 Footballers, the finals journey continues! 💪
Best of luck as they prepare to go again next weekend, we’ll be right behind you!

📣FOOTBALL OPERATIONS MANAGER WANTED📣

Macedon FNC is looking for a Senior Men’s Football Operations Manager for the 2027 season and beyond.

This is a key volunteer role supporting our Senior Men’s football program across the Seniors, Reserves and U19.5s, helping keep things organised, connected and running smoothly on and off the field.

You’ll work closely with coaches, players, team managers, volunteers and the committee, and play an important role in supporting our pathways, club culture and future success.

A big part of the role will be helping strengthen the connection between Macedon Junior FNC footballers transitioning into senior football, which is so important to the long-term sustainability and success of MFNC.

We’re looking for someone who is:

✓ Organised

✓ Reliable

✓ Great with people

✓ Passionate about community footy

✓ Keen to make a real impact at the club

Experience in footy admin or club operations would be handy, but it’s not essential. Support and training will be provided.
