About to start the X-marathon adventure race in Lake Entrance with Jarad, Ian, Elizabeth and Thierry (as part of team ).
The 46h non-stop offroad course looks like a lot of fun, including trekking, mountain biking and kayaking.
With a pretty packed field and most of the best adventure racing teams in Australia, it's going to be a tough one!

Last weekend, Thierry teamed up with Peak Adventure (Jacob, Mitch and Kathryn. Rob and Mathias as support crew) for the in Falls Creek Resort. After 2 days, 16h of mountain biking, trail running and kayaking, we came 2nd by 20min to team Adventure Ju**ie. Check out this awesome summary video.
Backing up next weekend with another rapid ascent event at the . Feeling strong!!

What an amazing day 1 at .
I still can't believe how beautiful is the sceneary around wanaka.
We finished the 72k and 2200m+ course in 6h30.
Not sure about our ranking yet. Looks like 1st or 2nd in our age group. Still very far behind the elite teams!
The race started with a lake crossing in a boat with our bike to join the start.
After a pretty good bike ride, we started to loose a lot of time when François's cramps decided to show up. They came to say hello to him about 15 times during the rest of the race. Kudos to him for going through like a pro.
Disappointed about the shortened kayak leg due to strong wind. It would have been a lot more fun than plan B (15k trail run instead 👎).
Today was the entry meal. Tomorrow is the main. We expect to finish in about 9/10h. Lot of climbing involved.

vertical K. 1st of its kind in Australia. Trail runners vs cyclists. The roadies got the win for this year. We'llget our revenge!!! Happy with my 2nd place in female category 😜
