A big thank you for all the beautiful messages, cards, and flowers and to all the family and friends who came along to celebrate Tony’s life. Sadly, I didn’t manage to speak and thank everybody personally for coming, but I sincerely appreciate you being there. Tony’s beautiful send-off at the Tam O’Shanter Golf & Community Club was due to so many willing helpers, including Lisa Cohen and Jason Orr behind the bar. A special thanks to Selena and Belinda from
T'N'T Fresh it Up Cafe for the magnificent grazing tables and to Di Simons,Diane Shaw,and Vicki Maree Bird for the yummy sandwiches. To those ladies who brought food it was much appreciated. To Barry Elizabeth Triffitt and Sallie Clayton and Julie Cooper for their help. And to Preben Nielsen for help with the photo slideshow. And to Cindy Simons for our lasagna for dinner last night.

BIN Happy.... thanks to George Town Council - the club received a grant which enabled us to purchase a number of bins specifically for use for our refundable recycling 😃😃😃

Thanks again to Lara & Alex from local winery Russell & Suitor who ran the wine tasting at the club last month. We had around 40 people turn up to try the wines and Alex gave a short talk about the vineyard. We hope to hold a monthly club Friday social event over Winter so keep your eye on our page for details of the next event.

We are saddened by the passing of Tony who was a member of our Club for many years and a regular volunteer with the Monday Course Crew.
We send our condolences to Irene & family.
