Adductor tear rehab
Basketball related injury 5 weeks post injury
Mechanism = driving to the basket late in training
Commenced with the RICER approach (yes this is still useful to start strength work early and mitigate pain/swelling) > isometrics > concentric+eccentric > and now we are getting jumps/plyos/ sports specific drills whilst being careful on the court but not too careful π
The biggest challenge is the confidence and breaking the psychological barrier to re-injury.
Taking all the necessary steps to come back stronger and more resilient than before.
