As a difficult year is coming to a close, Marconi CTC is delighted to share with our shooters that the club is well on the path to re-opening now that the ongoing investigation has concluded.

The clubs committee and administrators have been fighting tirelessly to ensure the survival of the club with one last hurdle to overcome being a re-affiliation with NSWCTA or other peak body.
At present, we are seeking access back to the grounds to complete building works and ensure our facilities are maintained to the standard our members and shooters expect.

We extend our most sincere thanks to the MANY members and friends of the club that continued to support us and fought with us so that we are able to make this announcement today. It is your commitment and dedication to our great club that has kept the entire Marconi CTC family going.

Marconi CTC would like to wish all shooters a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Years, we simply can’t wait to see you all soon!!

❗️Marconi Clay Target Club will be closed this week (Friday night 25/06 & Sunday 27/06) due to the escalating situation regarding community transmission of Covid-19 in the greater Sydney region.

The health and safety of our shooters and staff is paramount, which is why we have decided to postpone the Marconi CTC Anniversary shoot.
We look forward to sharing the new date with you once restrictions have eased.

On Sunday 30th May we held the Ghazi Y***k Memorial ISSF Trap competition.

Thankfully the forecasted rain and wind wasn’t around and we were able to have 5 squads nominate and compete.

Firstly we’d like to thank everyone who helped on the day and behind the scenes, especially Joe Haddad who ensured our great friends memory lives on. It was a great day enjoyed by all.

We would also like to thank Simone from Shoot Off Australia who kindly donated the overall prize for the shoot which was a Shoot off vest valued at $220. Thank you Simone your support is greatly appreciated.

Also, a thank you to Vince Lizzi who was capturing some awesome moments thoughout the day. Thanks Vince

Although it wasn’t raining, it was certainly a tough day for shooting as the overcast sky didn’t offer much light. After 75 targets the following shooters made up the 6 person final.

After the 25t single barrel final, it was William who emerged as the winner with a fantastic score of 24/25. Well done William. It was a pleasure having a visitor from WA at our club
