📣 📅 The 2026/27 long course calendar is live - a summer of swimming from September to March, with something on for every level.

Club carnivals across the state, in pools from Whyalla to Bordertown, Broken Hill to Murray Bridge, plus metro venues at SAALC, AAC, Waterworld, Unley and Forestville. Add the state championship program and our SwimmingSA meets, and there's a lot to plan around.

Final day at SA short course Championships and our swimmers didn’t disappoint.

Mia 🥉 200m IM, 🥉 50m freestyle in the 14 years age and 🥉 200m butterfly in the 12 & over age

Levi 🥉 50m freestyle and 🥈 100m breaststroke

Noah, Angus and Fred swam with Renmark’s Max to finish 🥉 in the 11-12 years 4x100m medley relay and 🥈 in the 4x50m medley relay.

Levi swam with Renmark’s Alex, Louis and Harper to place 🥉 in the open age 4x100m medley relay and 🥉 in the 4x50m medley relay.

Special mention to Mia who was the highest individual point scorer for the Riverland team. Overall Riverland placed 4th.

Congratulations to Angus, Fred and Isla who all made a new countries qualifying time.

Shout out to Sarah for team managing the Riverland team and Jade, Amelia and Cheryl for officiating for the team along with the parents from Renmark.

Loving the write ups Swimming SA

Day 2 of the 2026 Country SC Championships is done, and it's shaping up to a be memorable return to the calendar.

Highlights included a perfect two-day record from Isaac Smart (Upper North), four gold medals in a single session from Darcy Burford (South East), and five individual gold medals on the day from Isabelle Day (Eastern Districts).
