Come down on June 20 to celebrate our Past Players and Life Members Day where our Senior 1s and 2s play against Diamond Creek. We would love to have a big crowd to celebrate the history of the club and all players and members, past and present. As a family orientated club we would love to see families come down and spend the day cheering on the Roadrunners.
Come and enjoy some great food and drinks down at the baseball club.

Our Friday Night T-Ball Program has been an absolute hit with 20+ kids attending each week we have had an absolute blast seeing everyone involved. The future of baseball is looking bright.

A few people to recognise for the success of the program. Sophie Bird has been running the program each week with the help of Chris and a few others who rotate through. A big thank you to all who have helped but especially these two who come down each week and volunteer their time, the kids and their families definitely appreciate it.

Another thank you to the sponsor of our t-ball program National Press and to Cam Ross for his support of the club.

Well done to a very treasured member of our club Jex Locklier who was announced into the Masters Hall of Fame earlier this year at the Masters tournament in Ballarat. Jex has never ending baseball knowledge and is helping players out every week at training, always preparing the field weekly on Friday nights for game day and he also pitches in our Masters team during the summer. What a great recognition for a very talented and caring man. Congrats Jex!

Goodluck to Eva Lane who will be playing in the Junior League National Championships in Lismore this weekend for the Athletics Baseball Charter. This opportunity should give Eva the chance to play internationally if her team wins the tournament. Eva is regularly playing at a higher level of baseball and we wish her all the best in her already outstanding baseball career.

As another season of baseball continues, we want to take a moment to recognise and thank the incredible volunteers who make everything possible at Research Lower Plenty Baseball Club.

From coaches, team managers and scorers, to committee members, canteen helpers, groundskeepers, umpires, our weekly cooks, and everyone who lends a hand behind the scenes — this club simply could not function without you.

Your time, effort, passion and dedication create opportunities for our players, support our families, and help build the strong community spirit that makes our club so special.

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, hard work, and countless hours you give so generously. Your contribution does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do for the club.
Once a Roadrunner, always a Roadrunner ❤️💛

Congratulations to President Chris Fisher.

Chris won Baseball Victoria's Volunteer of the Year Award for his continuous efforts in the baseball community. Not only does he volunteer for our club but he has been a part of many junior state championships and baseball events. He also runs our t-ball program, umpires weekly and continues to run the club smoothly.

He is not someone who does the work for recognition but he is well deserving of this award. Congratulations Fish.
