Looking for a sport for your kids to play this summer? Look no further. Research Lower Plenty Baseball Club.

Junior baseball is for players aged 10-16 of any gender. All skill levels are welcomed.

We are a family orientated club looking for people who want to have some fun and try a new sport. We have excellent facilities with an indoor batting cage, field lights and modern clubrooms.

Inaugural Winner of the Don McKay Award (Brownlow)

Alex Filmer

We held our first ever Brownlow night where the votes from all senior teams were read out and we came out with an overall club winner for the 2026 Winter Season. The award went to a well deserving Alex Filmer who is still a junior! He is growing his baseball skills tremendously and is a very consistent player throughout and won with 29 votes which was 4 ahead of the next player. Congratulations to Alex!

We also like to acknowledge that this award was named the Don McKay Award. Don is known by everyone at the club for his continuous and constant service to the club. This was an easy decision to name the award after him and we cannot wait to see his legacy live on in the club.

Saturday August 29 from 10am-1pm we are holding a working bee. As all games are finished we are planning to do some maintenance of the field as well as clean up the batting cage and clubrooms prior to Presentation Night and the Summer season launching.

We would appreciate as much help as we could and if anyone has any tools that might be helpful that would also be appreciated.

The RLPBC acknowledge a serious and unsavoury incident that occurred late in the evening of the Club Brownlow Night Saturday Night.
The Club prides itself on being a family and all-inclusive Club with respect for others and this incident is totally unacceptable and immediate actions have been taken.

The player/member has been informed that their membership at RLPBC has been terminated effective immediately and that they can no longer return to the Club in any capacity which includes both Winter and Summer Seasons.

The Club has worked very hard to create a warm and safe environment for its members and friends, and we also reach out to those members who were present at the time of the incident and hope one stupid act does not deter the members in continuing to be engaged with the Club.

The Brownlow night was a fantastic Night and everyone enjoyed themselves but sadly ended on a terrible note. However, with the action put in place immediately, we can move on and look forward to the Summer Season.

9-16 year olds of all skill levels welcome.

Come meet the coaches and other players at our season launch. There will be an information session post training for anyone with questions.
